Russians/Belorussians/Ukrainians are Orthodox, they were culturally influenced by Greeks, so yes, they are more ‘southern’ culturally compared to other northern and eastern Europeans. They are more lively, emotional, loud etc. But again, that’s compared to Norwegians, Swedes, Finns and Estonians.

But from my Greek point of view, they’re still very different from Greeks and other southern Europeans.
I should also add that it’s a similar case with Poles and Catholicism. They are more ‘southern’ mentally and culturally compared to Swedes or Finns.
That’s just my opinion though.
