europeans rarely have poker straight hair imo, like NE Asians

most europeans with straight hair, if they grew their hair out, would notice a slight wave in the hair

Possibly, very possible. Mongol admixture is no stranger to the people of Europe. And growing up, I saw white people and asians as having the same hair texture but now? I see that they're different. White people hair varies from straight to wavy on average. Asian hair is super straight. Some asians even get perms to make their hair "More white straight" because its easier to style.
