About 25% are pro unification, and almost the same percentage are against.
In general, the trend goes towards unification.

In the 90s only 2% of the Moldovan population was calling itself Romanian.
Today, 20% of Moldovans declare themselves as Romanian (almost 1 in 3 ethnic Moldovans - btw not all Moldovans are ethnic Moldovan, but Romanians consider all ethnic Moldovans to be Romanian).

Ethnic identity is evolving in Moldova after 50 years in which it was deliberately repressed. I can see this with El_Moldovano who came here as very skeptic of the Union, but slowly is developing a Romanian pride
