Ancient Slavic Skull with sagittal keel . Slavic characteristic or from Neanderthals ??

Well this is interesting. Many European Males have this characteristic (pointy skull)






Is this Slavic (or maybe Nordic) characteristic to modern Europeans ??
Or maybe from Neanderthals?? Africans and Asians have not this...

Someone also can say that it is just a deformation of the skull from young age.

Looks deformed, not really like a sagittal keel.

Sagittal keep shows up in paleolithic really but is not neanderthal or original cromag feature. It's mainly on borrebies etc. and goes back something like 18k years in nordic areas.

There is no skull shape that is unique to only Europeans. There is the caucasoid skull which is shared with people beyond Europe.

Neanderthals did not have saggital keels; this feature is only commonly found in Asian Erectus, some Australian Aboriginals and Eskimo. Only one Neanderthal fossil has a saggital keel (Miguelon aka Sima de Los Huesos 5), who was a proto-Neanderthal who differed from the later Neanderthals in several aspects, cranially speaking. The classical European and West Asian Neanderthals actually had very much the opposite of saggital keeling, and Neanderthal skulls are infamous for their lack of keeling and sharp eversion of any kind.

The Japanese skull has the smoothness, the extreme zygomatic and malar prominence breadth, the roundness and smoothness of the cranial vault, the facial height, and the lateral maxillary inflation of a Neanderthal skull.
