The part with the "glorious nation" was a joke. We are piss poor. We can't afford them. But to be honest corruption and poverty are much lower now than in the past. I'd say we are on a good road, but it remains to be seen. This December we have the Parliamentary Elections, and it depends a whole lot on the result of this elections.
