We don't claim to BE European, but, inasmuch as we have many Europeans living here as registered aliens and because much of our culture is derived from those of Europe, we are concerned with the fate of the European nations. Why should you object to that ?

Welp I'm American by Nationality but not ethnicity, as there really IS no "American" ethnicity. Closest you'll find to that is Native American.

My Nat Geo DNA test results showed that genetically, I match closest with Norwegians and Danes sooo... Genetics DO count even if cultural influences are a lot different.

At least living in Alaska is a lot like living in Norway from a climatological view.
