    The closest thing to Tuscans would be the Umbrians. Genetically they are equidistant from Piedmonteses and Apulians.

    If you cherrypick tuscans "blonds" they can easily pass for swiss. Florence and Tuscany got a strong Germanic influence due to even recent migration... True tuscans IMO is a sort of dinaro/med, and they can't be compared with northern italians for their unic look...but of course plenty of them can pass easily in the north of Italy...
