If USA was much more powerful then Soviet Union why don't won the cold war during 50s, 60s, 70s, but only in the end of 80s? Do you have an answer for this?

Probably because there aren't any full scale war or hot conflicts between the two powers. Soviet Union can more or less hold the situation as long as they weren't challenge too much.
Also China was involve and give a huge support like in the viet nam war for exemple.

Or by a convention of the states. In other words, if more than 2/3 (I think?) of the state legislatures call for a convention to amend the constitution, we're good to go. Several already have. There's is a nationwide petition going on to do so: www.conventionofstates.com You should sign.

I'm not a supporter of either...but I'm pretty sure Hillary would have short-ordered nuclear war. She's a special kind of witch.

Of course, I can very much so foresee a Trump presidency seeing some violence naturally. Also an ever-stronger surveillance state.
