Can anyone explain how exactly does the electoral college system for the presidential elections actually work? If a candidate receives a majority or plurality of votes in a state, does he win all the electors in that state or only the majority of them?

Winner takes it all, no matter how large the win is

So winning popular vote in one state, gives that candidate all state electors, right?
