I suggest to be careful of things like that. If you are not employed by a funds management company and decide to go alone - it is a process of learning. You will find alot about your character in terms of patience, anxiety, determination.. analytical skills come a long distance second and advice from others is even a further distant third. The best traders do not say a word to no one and it takes about five years to get to know your stuff then another couple of years to know how to play the game correctly.. but paper trading is not going to cut it you can't learn to ride a bike by reading a book - good traders wear scars of lessons learnt.

Absolutely. I have quite a few scars already from trading, lol. I haven't beaten the game yet... but I have gained a lot of experience already indeed. Perhaps soon I want to give it another go... trading small bets at first.
