One funny thing about me as a kid, considering falling of Yugoslavia...

When war broke out in 1991, our Croatian govermont was taking down Yugoslavian flag ofcourse, it was on TV, I was maybe 3 years old, maybe somewhat older, and my mother says to me that I was crying haha

When she asked me why am I crying, I said somethin like; "why are they taking down my flag..." hahaha, "my flag", my mother was laughing she said. Also she said to me; "your flag is Croatian", but I was like; "no no no, it is Yugoslavia" haha , I was a kid, a baby lol, obviously I loved Yugoslavia because I didn't understand what is going on, how could I, I thought like many young children back then that Yugoslavia is what it is; Yugoslavia and there is nothin else.

Just funny anecdote , later when war broke out I was totally as a kid in Croatian uniforms ofcourse and couldn't believe my mom when she said to me I was crying about Yugoslavia lol...

But sometimes I listen to this song and some emotions come to me, and I am not Yugoslavia fan or communist, no way, just emotions because not all things were bad there, I wish all of you could understand this lyrics



P.S. This song was made few years before war and it was like this song predicted everything what is coming.

Bijelo Dugme was truly one of the best Rock bands of Yugoslavia, maybe THE best.

Believe it or not but Bijelo Dugme durin Yugoslavia even though never sang in English, they had some recordings of songs in UK, so Mick Jagger said (even though couldn't understand lyrics) they are somethin unbelievable.

You are Albanian right?

Then for sure you know this song which they sing in Albanian, which shows they truly loved every ethnics inside Yugoslavia, I dont understand a word in this song except when they say; "rock'n'roll" haha, but song is great , video was made in Kosovo durin Yugoslavia, and I think ppl here will also love the rhythm.

Yeah I'm Albanian but mixed as you probably already knew

Tito's Yugoslavia was great in all honesty, he respected every ethnicity and didn't let them megalomaniac Serbs colonize nor Bosnia, nor Croatia, nor Kosovo.
