This page allows you to compare italian surnames per country and per region (only in USA)

If you take into consideration that NJ,NY are the most italian regions of USA ,and that they are only comparable to THE WHOLE Argentina , its obvious that Buenos Aires/Santa Fe/Cordoba (pampa) are WAY MORE italian than the USA northeast.

    You're welcome.

Before the boom in tourism around 5 years ago the city was 100% italian. People there speak portuguese with italian accent, actually. The majority still have their dialect as first language (immigrants originally from Veneto, if I'm not wrong).

You're not wrong, I think they are mostly from Veneto and to a lesser extent from Lombardy and Emilia. Maybe also a more recent minority of people with Portuguese ancestry.

It sees that even a Brazilian state is majority Italian.

Not to talk about the whole Argentina. I guess every state there is majority italian

While in Uruguay it seems they don t form the majority ethnicity wich is instead Criollo-Spanish

In Venezuela they are just 5-10%.. Btw it's obvious that they emigrated in Venezuela after the discovery of Oil there; who would ever go in an equatorial-mosquito place changing his life if not for a Good reason like the Oil?

This was made by costas using frequency of top italian surnames in locatemyname for argentina brazil and chile. The list/map makes sense

But omg I'm so sorry you were right. The formula had been deleted in Chubut and replaced with a random number hence why it was so high.

This is the right one. Sorry again –I didn't make sense to me either I was like why Chubut I thought it was very Welsh not Italian.

Around 63% of argentina lives in the bluest provinces (bs as santa fe and cordoba)

lol, Venezuela has many mountainous areas with a decent temperate climate.

Caracas, where I am originally from, is at an altitude between 900-1200 meters above the sea level, and most of the year the night temperatures are below 20C, dropping as low as 12-14C between November and April (record low 7C). And there are no mosquitoes in Caracas. And the satellite cities of Los Teques and San Antonio de Los Altos, located in the very proximity from Caracas, are even cooler than Caracas, for being located at a higher altitude (1200-1400 meters above sea level).

El Jarillo and La Colonia Tovar (The first one located at about 40 minutes and the second one at about 1 hour, respectively, from Caracas) are at more than 2000 meters above the sea level, and they both have a pretty decent temperate climate (maximum day temperatures that normally don't exceed 20C, and minimum night temperatures that can drop to 5C) with frequent mists almost every day, and most of the year. For some reason they were settled by German and Austrian immigrants.

And the Venezuelan Andean states (Merida, Tachira, most of Trujillo state, and part of Lara state) have also a pretty decent temperate climate.

You obviously don't know what you talk about.

Edit: And there are no mosquitoes in any Venezuelan city, lol
