We've Mexicans and Jews and others. We have lots of literature actual. My church has a bookstore, thrift store, and working on a university. Blessed water? Never even heard of it and we're not allowed to shout in church. Clapping is even discouraged lol. You've seen the "other" baptists i bet lol. Those are weird lol

Infant baptism is good because it emphasizes the holiness of the children of believers, giving them the sense of belonging to the community of the faithful from the beginning. Opportunity to own the covenant signified by baptism is available through a profession of faith which members make when they get older.

Also, I believe that the doctrines spelled out by TULIP are biblical, so I would strongly encourage you join a church that professes them, or at least study the Arminian v. Calvinist theological debate .

It depends on what you're looking for. Do you really believe in Christianity or are you only doing it for social and cultural reasons? You have "pagan" under your headline, why not just remain a polytheist?

I am ambivalent toward Catholicism myself, but it depends on WHY you want to convert.

By why that commandment? Do you still aknowlege all 10 though? And in my church ladies wear skirts and dresses. I have never worn anything other than skirts or dresses to my church. Many of us wear pantyhose too but we don't care if you don't. Of course we won't kick out a female who came in wearing pants either. As long as they're looking decent we won't say anything. But yeah neighter picture matches my church. This picture here is of my church during one of the Russian services. All ladies on stage are in skirts or dresses with pantyhose. Guys in suits and ties. We also have English service but I don't go to it so have no picture of it. But English one is a mixture of my picture and both of yours.

I don't associate Anabaptists with Baptists. I see them as distinctly different. They don't derive from the same cultural background.

My church goes more along Anabaptists though. Anabaptists for example are pacifists and not all Baptists are. My church is for it. When I became a citizen in the U.S. they asked about war and stuff and I said no my religion is against it and they told me to have my pastor write a letter for me stating so. My pastor wrote we are pacifists and I can't participate and it was enough for my citizenship.

The ortho drink right? And just other things. Also what's Byzantine Catholic? I'm taking a guess they place mary very high and pray to her like Catholics usually do. We are against that because it only says to pray to God. So my church views it as idolatry which is a sin. Also, Bible mentions no popes or that one way of praying with mary thing. And Catholics have confessions? Not mentioned in scripture either. So that's why I can't go by it. Hope that helps.
