I wasn't butthurt.
I was pointing out the flaws in his essay, i couldn't care less honestly, but his standards were highly unrealistic.

I had a lot of body dysmorphia when I was younger. I remember really noticing this in my early 20s. I took a picture of self and loved it. I slowly watched it morph from a gorgeous photo into a hideous dragon face that made me want to literally throw up any time I looked at it. That sounds comical, but it happens. I started taking a series of pics afterwards and forced myself to look at each one and for each bad comment I had, I would pair it with a positive comment.

I think part of recovery includes the willingness to improve. It's not an overnight process, and does take time to work on, but practice makes perfect.
