Man you are clueless really , first of all Macedonians were Greeks and older than Romans.
Second , illyrians were not Greeks and older than Romans too.
So both of them cant be Romans.
Third Romans were not Greeks either, they had Greek blood and greek colonies there but they were not pure Greeks
Fourth , R1 came to Ancient Greece with Dorians -> Spartans -> Cretans -> Macedonians and then spread to other greek tribes too.
You can find R1 in whole Greece, so R1 is part of ancient Greeks too.
Fifth, Germans are not R1 . Pure Germans were nordic people and they were I1.
Same with ancient Slavs, they were I1 and you can find them mostly in north-west Russia near Finland

There's different clades of R1a. Most of it seems ancient and looks to be connected to the Dorians. Some may be Slavic. It is the haplogroup that never made it to Cyprus, since neither Dorians nor Slavs colonized the place. Greeks colonized Cyprus prior to the Dorians.

I doubt it's from native Balkan people. Nordvedt says it coalesces about 1000 years ago. Almost definitely brought to South Balkans by south Slavs. Though I doubt original proto-Slavic groups were I2. Bulgarians have a relatively low " genetically " Slavic input, so it makes sense. It's high in Serbs though and through the route that Slavs took into the Balkans from Adriatic coast, through Pindus and down into northwest peloponesse it gradually diminishes. ( Slavs took the same route as proto-Greeks)

L38 is the Greek one - its been around for many thousands of years
I2 (M438/P215/S31) is thought to have originated during the Late Paleolithic, around the time of the Last Glacial Maximum (LGM), which lasted approximately from 26,500 to 19,000 years ago. I2 probably appeared in western Europe, although its exact region of origin cannot be determined since Paleolithic Europeans were nomadic hunter-gatherers. The oldest I2 sample recovered from archeological skeletons is a 13,500 year-old man from the Grotte du Bichon in Switzerland
Maybe even Myceneans as Greeks have quite abit of it.
Probably originated here that was the peak of Thessalian neolithic meeting other cultures
