Are some Levantines white?

As i have stated in other threads most Lebanese and Syrian i have seen can pass as Europeans, i have met many Lebanese not only where i live (Brazil, a country with more Lebanese than Lebanon itself) but also in trips to Lebanon, Israel and Syria. I know that many can't pass, but there is a great amount who are indistinguishable from regular europeans.

Are some of them White or no? Why?

i think very rare can pass in Europe, even tho these on pictures can.

They're west eurasian or caucasoid, but not white. Physically speaking, many pass either as European or some random depigmented asiatic alpine phenotype that comes off as white European to most people. However, a lot also don't.

Only a minority of Levantines look European, vast majority don't look European.

I hate it when people use Bashar Al-Assad as an example because he has obvious semitic features, he's just depigmented. Lol there are Levantines who look way more European than him.

White for me is just European look. If you say to random people on the streets the guys above aren't white they will just laugh. Most Lebanese where i live aren't very different from the ones of the photos. And most are not mixed with local whites.

Yes, because when they are the same pigmentation as south euros, their semitic features give them away. Whereas, nobody would think twice about calling the average fair haired, fair skinned, etc Levantine with semitic features "white."

I don't think so. I'm pretty sure everyone has met white passing non whites before.
