Generally speaking, the warmer it gets the warmer people become. Spain, Greece and Turkey had some of the friendliest and most talkative people, Germany and Poland were alright, Sweden, Finland and Norway more reclusive and polite. In Moscow I felt like someone could die in the street and no one would bat an eye. I had a terrible time in Vienna, but my visit was limited to that city and lasted only two days. Israeli people seemed very rude and in your face at first, but they grow on you.
    Spoiler!

    I have visited following countries:
    Austria
    Germany
    Greece
    Holland
    Hungary
    Italy
    Hungary
    Poland
    Slovakia
    USA

In all countries were the people nice to me.
But the warmest ones were in the USA (Texas) and in Greece.
I was a bit disappointed at Italy, but perhaps because I expected that Italians will be warmer.

When did you go to Turkey? Please tell us about your experience in Turkey that make you think Turkish people are hospitable.

It is important for me to hear it from a Greek. Because most Greeks i met in internet seemed full of hatred towards Turks unlike you.

(I assume you are a Greek)

I don't know if i met any turks, seemed like everyone i met was kurdish who fled from their home towns because the police and army killed everyone on the streets.

But i guess i met some turks, taxi drivers maybe? they were funny and polite!
