What does Alevi mean to you? Did you join or is it, somehow, your heritage? If the former, why and how would one fit into what appears to be a folkish tradition? If the latter, then how does an Anatolian and largely Kurdish sect show up in Iberia?

I studied several subjects of eastern history and philosophy during Uni, and I am an Orientalist in many aspects of my formation. When I filled the gap of religion, I included those traditions that I felt that best fit with my vision of the world, although I am inclined to believe that I am not the only European that associates him or herself with a middle eastern system of believes
