One of many threads of mine lost in the crash. Even though most English, Welsh, Scottish and Irish people can quite easily pass as the other, there are some individuals who look unique to each group. Some examples:

Tristram Hunt, English


Jamie Roberts, Welsh


Charles Kennedy RIP, Scottish


Jonathan Sexton, Irish

Hunt coulda maybe been an Irishman.

Roberts looks very Welsh for sure.

Kennedy looks Scottish or maybe Irish.

Sexton is about as Irish as it gets.

Anyways, it's tricky because they are all pretty closely related.

Yes, the people of the British Isles are generally quite similar, but there are some subtle differences, particularly to those with a trained eye.

As a side note, I am still amazed how few posts this thread has attracted. If this were called "post examples of people who look uniquely Epirote, Cretan, Peloponessian or Dodecanese", we'd be onto at least thirty posts by now.
