The 1st one is a close friend & his kit is private; his ancestry is extremely stationary & very old.
The 2nd one is a former classmate kept in contact with; late 1500s/early 1600s stationary except for a 1800s foreign ancestor.

From completely different areas in the UK. Like myself/dad from thoroughly researched families (more than just copying & pasting from ancestry.com, geni, etc.) and the only reason for DNA testing was haplogroup interest; ethnicity & questionable ancestry didn't even factor. And that's the thing. People like this - from the older, (and/or affluent) families, or from families who haven't moved for a very long time - are less likely to genetic test than those whose ancestry is mobile, uncertain/questionable, or even unknown.
Interesting these two look like modern day Scandinavians. Can you post their Eurogenes k15?

It is not necessary to be racially pure, to be a real and true Anglosaxon.
Even Anglosaxons were not pure autosomally, as they did marry Celtesses,
Romanesses and later Normanesses. So, it is sensless to compare them by race.

The answer to the OP appears to be, 'It is unlikely'. One might wonder if social status would make a difference.

According to a population study done on the British population, Anglo-Saxon DNA is highest in the Yorkshire, Humber, and East Midlands regions. https://www.ancestry.com/corporate/i...sh-as-we-think

The study states that the average Briton is 36.94% Anglo-Saxon, 21.59% Celtic and 19.91% Western European (French/German).

Even so, Anglo-Saxon haplogroups are the most common, at least in England (appx. 60% of the English population).

My family hails primarily from England (I am not certain of the region). I have no Celtic admixture - only Western European and Scandinavian.
