There are bound to be some celebrities that won't admit that they're gypsies.... The fact is that on genetic tests Romanians pretty much never score south asian.

Some Romanian 23andme results have detected minor South Asian admix.












As you see it's very Minor, but it might end up influenciating a bit the phenotype of a few persons, nothing out of abnormal......

I don't think 0,3%, 0,7% and 2,2% can affect anyone's phenotype.

I can say the difference between a Romanian Romanian and a Gypsy Romanian. There are only some examples when gypsies are mixed with Romanians and are white but never the opposite.

Anyway the thread says that "Romanians are not Gypsies!".

But why to convince those who say something like that???

Cherrypicked as hell dude, and the most you could find is 2,2%?
That's nothing. Anything under 1% is nothing IMO, so you only found one with some slight south asian admixture, out of 100+ genetic results.

I don't think it's possible to get South Asian admix in the Romanian samples without getting MENA. Most of gypsies have a lot of MENA admixture, even more than South Asian. It's clear that that those samples have 0% gypsy admixture. The first one has, though.

I am tired of idiot trolls and other morons on this forum calling me and other Romanians or all Romanians Gypsies. Sure, Gypsies are people too, but you know they are not either confused or in love with Gypsies. It ain't cute when you make allusions to the similarity between the ethnonyms of the 2 peoples. Beyound stupid is thinking he was a Gypsy since basically gypsies from Romania and Bulgaria in Portugal are among the criminal immigrants in Portugal. They are extremely segragated.

He is not mixed, he cames from a normal Romanian family. His mother and father looked Romanian but he had a face that was very impresive for a European.

and they cant manage to get a decent living especially as immigrants?
i remember a video about brexit where some roma people where scared because they owned a jewerly shop in london but they wouldnt be able to get as successful in their country of origin

i've noticed many people don't know how a gypsy looks like...having a darker complexion, dark hair and brown eyes doesn't make u gypsy...

no but permanent dark skin (with a certain skin tone. properly olive skin could be an indication of another type of admixture like armenian or sephardic ) is a good indication.
i have seen a lot of romas begging on the streets who had an europid face but the skin tone indicated their indian origin...

refarding the facial features i would say that s hard to say.. they re a mixtures of a lot of things
