Europeans and west asians are closer, cause they are closer geographically and have never been apart, contact between both sides was and is very easy and simple.

Au contraire to native americans and east asians that could not reach, or contact each other for thousands of years, making both drift in different directions.

Agreed. I feel that Europeans and West Asians are genetically much much closer to one another than between Mongoloids and Native Americans as well.

A more interesting question would be who is phenotypically closer: Europeans and South Asians vs Mongoloids and Native Americans.
