In my opinion there is no clear borderline between Pontid and Eastnordid, Northpontid is just the designation for everything in between, leaning more towards Eastnordid already (light eyes), similar to Northatlantid, which is more stable and specific though.

North Pontid are basically light eye Pontid, right ? There is no difference between East Nordid and Pontid just like Scando-Nordid and Atlanto-Mediterraneanid but the difference is basically pigmentation.

To put it simple, there are probably other differences, at least statistically, not as much individually, but, the further North you go with Pontid or South with Eastnordid, the closer they get to each other, until you have a local spectrum more often than not, which can't be divided any more into typical Eastnordid or Pontid...

I think that's something most acquired through real admixture though, typical variants have rather large and open eyes, at least for Eastern European contexts.

If they are with mixed somethin like Baltid, then yeah but pure Pontid have rathe open and large eye.
