Greetings from the Blue Mountains, NSW

Hello,
I hail from Australia and live in the Blue Mtns, NSW... about 2 hours west of Sydney. I have 3 children, 2 dogs and 1 cat, plus a few stray cats who have adopted us.

I am very interested in genealogy and ancestry. I have had my MTDNA tests done(FGS) to find the female line(mums side of course) which gives a 'H3' and a specifically western European area... this goes back to about 14,000 - 20,000 years ago. Other more modern areas/countries my ancestors hail from are: England, Scotland, Prussia, Austria, Belgium, Germany(via Bremerhaven) and France. Some of the surnames are of Germanic/Anglo Saxon origins.. e.g. Richards, Chilton, Franks, Lindsay, Lovell(Norman), Moorhausen to name just a few.

I take my ancestry and genealogy very seriously and have been doing our family tree for many years.

My spiritual beliefs are predominantly heathen.

I am really pleased to have found this site, it's a great haven for us all.
