What peoples belong to this race? I don't need to hear non-sense from Hungarians who think they are Turanid, like Blogen always claims. Are Tatars in Romania and Bulgaria Turanids or Mongoloids? What about extinct peoples like the Huns or Proto-Turks?

Turanid is a term that encompasses individuals with Mongoloid features. How they came to be we don't know for sure but it is believed that the East Asian admixture came from Mongols, Tatars, Cumans and so on.

Actually every racial term can no longer be integrated into the modern age. It was thought earlier that the Turanids are a contact race of Europid and Mongolid peoples.

In the course of human genetics, we know that classifications are overtaken by the findings of modern genetics. Modern human genetics argues and reiterates that external differences such as skin and hair color, hair structure and nose shape are merely an adaptation to different climate and nutritional conditions, which are determined only by a small subgroup of genes.

On the other hand, we know today that close to the whole Eurasian continental shelf is a contact race between Mongoloid and Europid peoples. The Asian impact is to be found from the Japanese coast to France, through the periodic migrations of the last millennium.

I agree that Hungarians have predominantly European (or "white") DNA. How does that negate the Turanic culture? It is not a color of skin that makes one, and last I've checked, there are many shades all in between descendants and mixes of ancient turkic peoples.
