What did you dream last night?

I saw some of my childhood friends who I don't speak to anymore and we were taking selfies in the classroom.. I don't know why I see my old friends so often

Something similar happens to me, when I left elementary school that's all I dreamt about. And in the first few months after I left high school, it was all I could dream about. I find it hard to let things go I suppose, or ending significant life chapters so to speak.

I was at a family gathering in my parents' old house with dozens of distant cousins I didn't know. There were some very loud children there and I couldn't wait for them to leave. We all went outside to have lunch and then walked down to a (nonexistent) river where colorful fiberglass boats were waiting for every family. It was a sunny day and I enjoyed rowing while listening to my grandparents talk. The dream took place in the 90's. It felt very nostalgic, with old vehicles, cloths, board games etc. The relatives I knew were in their current age (save a few who passed away years ago) - so it was anachronic. I can't say how old I was, but I acted like a bratty teen.

I dreamed i was in a bed in a hospital with some people around me. I can't remember it well neither their faces.

chased by a clown gang and trying to run away while wearing a barney outfit full of human intestines and beef jerky.

a van with 'free candy' painted on the side and blaring circus music rolls up and stops. the door slides open, i think its rescue...but its more clowns.

then i wake up screaming, my wife leaps out of bed and throws a pillow at me. i go take a piss and stand on the cool tile floor in the bathroom until i stop sweating and then i go back to bed and sleep peacefully the rest of the night.

Kind of sounds like you’re afraid of overthinking/overshooting your goal and your subconscious might be reminding you be more thoughtful and aware of where you’re headed, like needing to clearly outline your goals so you have a better idea of where you should be ending up.

My bad, I was gonna respond but forgot and I just remembered now:

basically yeah, I dont want to get into details but this is one of the most uncertain times of my life. I get lots of thoughts about what I should be doing but I push them away, and I guess those thoughts come in full force in the form of dreams. It's been years(seriously) since I've had a good dream-all of mine are really weird/creepy even scary which is concerning but not surprising. something drastic would have to take place in my life in order for it to really change.

I dreamt that I was attractive and successful... :') I think the nightmare I had once of dying on my own wedding day is more possible than that lol
