i have zombie dreams all the time ;-;

What're they about?

Last night I dreamed I was driving around in a pick-up truck. Alto at one point I was pushing it on a road for bicycles and I was pushing it because it was the only way to get to the proper road again. Some cops on bikes told me where that was. But on the road it changed in some kind of SUV.

What're they about?

um um um there's lots but the worst was when the whole world looked like that expressionist film Caligari and was all stacks of broken concrete with steel beams and then the zombies were shadows and everyone but me got eaten but i kept running through half-buildings (like all the way tall but cut in half and the other half gone) and it sucked.

others include being a convoy member on a convoy of pink ottomans! we kicked ass and one of the members was an ex boyfriend who totally almost got me killed but i skateboarded the zombie in the face. then we realised after travelling through the muddy dark villages and purging some zombies that the people asking us for help getting their car out of the mud (they were across a river) were totally zombies but COGNIZANT ONES omg omg omg i was the only one who thought something was wrong and we were going uphill btw and the leader was like i think we should help them then a little kid who was with the cognizant zombies SPAT ACID at us and it hit a wall and i was like omg turn back and i fell off the ottoman-convoy and then had to cling on for dear life to it and i woke up as we rounded the corner.

i fell back asleep and had a moment with my ex where he apologised then turned to stone...

many many many many more dreams as such are remembered but i don't want to make this post tooo long

Did you watch the movie Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom shortly before having this dream?

No but that was my first association too, becouse I have watched variouse times that film, also when I was child, and the scene of the human sacrifice remained impressed to me very much. Anyway I often dreamt "mystic apparition that way".
An other connection I made is with Tomb Rider II, when she was in India and the bronze living statue of a Goddess appeared to Lara. I dunno how it has finished becouse I have never passed that livel

RomanQueen, I would say your dream means you yearn to explore exotic cultures and locations. Are you thinking about traveling somewhere, or studying some sort of ancient history?

I agree. Now I study foreign languages and archeology has always been an intriguing subject for me (when I was child I wanted to become archeologist).

In Italian popular culture it means that somebody very related to you is going to die or that you are going to lose money.
On a site of psychology I found this explanation:

Translation:
-Lose teeths. Torn or broken theets would indicate "onanism"*, or also castration or impotence. The same can be said for dreams regarding baldness or cut of hair.

The losing of theeths symbolized also the passage from the childhood to the age of reason with all the responsabilities that follow the fall of primary teeth. In a woman, to swallop a tooth can mean the desire of a child.

*Onanism: practice of coitus interruptus to avoid pregnancy.

It is a very common dream anyway.

From the same site I also found the explanation to some symbolic objects very frequent in drems. I transcribe some of them here:

- to climb or descend steps symbolizes the sexual act;
-a king or a queen rapresents parents or desire of power;
-clothes are our facade, symbolize our status, our behavor and our social role;

This is an other dream I made when I was more or less 17 and is pretty mystic too and also very long. It is divided in 3 parts.

1]I was in a church becouse the new Pope had been elected. I and maybe also the Pope were wearing a blue tunic with golden astral embroidery. I was the substitute of the Pope or however somebody who had to assist to the religouse services, but I was sure the Pope was a woman. At a moment my father tells me that the Pope is a man. I get angry and , indignant, wrote on a piece of paper: <<Until a Pope won't be a woman <my name> won't be catholic >>. But I had a special role in the Church so I could not go away.
I found the services stupid and boring, so I asked my father: <<Can't we just say to the Pope that I don't believe so we go away? Indeed I am not christian >>. And he: <<No>>.
When the mess ended I found myself in a zone between my town and the city next to my town, a bit before the pinewood. A bus was passing. A friend of mine (I'll call her Judith here) came out of the bus. This friend of mine is as tall as me and has got blue-green eyes, besides she lives with her mother who has a passion for occultism. Judith indicates the bus and I read that on its destination it is written "Guru" and Judith screams :<< Let's take it>> so we can go to the buddhist monk.

2] On the bus I hear someone who is greeting me. I turn my head in his direction and see S. (an half English guy I liked in that period, who once told me to be buddhist) and his friend N. I am sure that he is going to the guru too. We arrive to the last busstop (Guru) and everybody descend from the bus. We understand "Guru" is only the name of the square where we descend.

3]We are in a squallid apartment (like the apartment of the oracle in Matrix I) and remembers an hospital. I and Judith think that inside one of those apartment lives the guru so we start to knock on every door. Once a woman in wonderbra opens to us. She has got redhair and she is extremely ugly and of about 50 years. S. and N. are inside too. I and Judith understand that she is a bitch and S. and N. were not there for the guru but for her.
I and Judith continue to look for the guru, without finding him. At the last floor we meet an ogre who wants to eat us poisoning us with apples (when I was child I was often called Whitesnow becouse of the resemblance with the Dysney's picture). The ogre has got 2 crates full of yellow, green and red apples, for every taste. He purpose me and Judith a yellow apple. I bite it and reply to the ogre: <<I'd prefer a red apple, but try it you for first and tell me how it is>>.

*the blue tunic with astral embroidery makes me think to Judith herself, as she has blue eyes and had a passion for occultism, wicca and so on. The tunic also remebers me the tunic of the legendary celtic priestesses and Judith has a passion for celtic legends while I preferred scandinavian legends.

**some days after this dream I discovered that in my city there is a square whose name is "Piazza Grue", where I had to go some days after. When I made the dream I didn't know a square with such a name existed in my city. The two places looked also very similar, indeed when I went to Square Grue and saw how it looked I remained astonished. I don't believe these things, but it happened variouse times to me to dream things that after happened.

Maybe I shouldn't post this... but, I had a dream I killed Stephen Harper last night.

He passed a bunch of laws and there was CCTV everywhere plus everyone had a bar code on the back of their neck, so he had to be bumped off.

There was also strict racial segregation and race was determined by bar code readers on the doors of buildings. Anyways, the poison I killed him with was in a science lab that only black people were allowed in so I went to the funeral home and "borrowed" a body, which I held up to the bar code reader to get in.
