Southern Europeans have less Neanderthal admixture than Northern Europeans. Middle Eastern people also have less. Tuscans are less than 1%.

See the graph I posted above, Chipewyan Indians have the highest Neanderthal score at 1.633. The highest in Europe is Saami with 1.363, followed by Icelanders and Albanians.

I'm not sure about the North/South cline of Neanderthal ancestry in East Asians. I remember seeing something that suggested Taiwanese Aboriginals actually had the most Neanderthal DNA. From what I can see quickly looking it up, the Naxi in China have the most Neanderthal in the world and Papuans/Australians have the most Denisovan.

Something GtG once posted suggested Albanians and Icelandic people had the most Neanderthal DNA in Europe.

In Mongoloids there is probably a North-South cline in Neanderthal admixture, northern populations (Yakuts, Inuit, Koreans) have more than southern populations (possibly due to Negrito admixture). Polynesian Mongoloids are also very low on Neanderthal DNA compared to northerners. The Maori (1.252) are comparable to Icelanders and lower than the Saami.
