Really. I live in Virginia. Antifa went to Charlottesville and the Alt Right wasn't even there. Antifa trashed the town. The police finally stood up to them and had to put barricades around the city.
Antifa also did violence in D.C. as well. Very few people on the Alt Right even showed. And violence still happened, because the leftists are what caused the violence in last year's event as well!

My grandfather thought the KKK was too liberal, so he joined the White Citizens Council instead. They were mostly white collar Richmond businessmen , just trying to keep things nice for the city.

The WCC wasn't into cross burning or using direct intimidation. They were better educated, more white collar and less provincial.
