If you're going to show an interest in the world, then respect people who correct you when you try to make conclusions about certain/groups parts of the world if that person has a lot more experience with said group than you do. Be open to learning new things and stop seeing things through such a narrow "European," "MENA," "South Asian," ""East Asian," "Native American," and "African" lens, the world is much more complicated than that. In plus, you seem more situated on people's phenotype than who they are as people. That's not "getting to know the world," that's reading the covers of 100 books without opening a single one.

Umm, you have it backwards, Europeans and other caucasoids are not genetically homogenous, the closest thing to pure is in some African tribes

But in the past you criticised me for overstating the differences among Europeans and maybe some other races, and now you seem to be saying the opposite.

That's because you boundaries on some things make no sense to me. European is more of a greater ethnicity anyways; I don't consider it it's own race. I think that in a global sense, your boundaries don't make sense (when relating groups to other groups), but that you should see EACH group as it's individual group more. I also think that you base your assumptions on phenotypes solely on geography which is also wrong. More things take into account as well.

You seem like a decent guy . Even if I strongly disagree on some of your opinions.

I think you are nice but often deny what is true genetically and scientifically because of your preconceived notions of what "should" be even when it's not.

But you are the one who has openly admitted to (over)stating overlaps between South Italians and Lebanese people based on personal experiences growing up surrounded by both Lebanese kids who were nice to you and British Islanders who were not rather than anything more objective.

I always felt closer to all Southern Europeans and MENAs than to Irish Americans, but I never knew the genetic relationships between us until I DNA tested. Either way it can't bias me much... because no way in hell are we closer to the Irish than to Lebanese Americans.
