Pakistani woman burnt to death in British city

A 23-year old woman has died after she was found on fire in the back garden of a house in Bradford, police have said.

West Yorkshire Police and fire crews were called to a property on Cloudsdale Avenue, south of the city centre, at 1915 BST on Thursday.

A force spokesman said the woman, who was found "alight", was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the death was being treated as suspicious and forensic science experts remained at the scene.

A post-mortem examination is to take place later.

Shocked neighbours in the quiet cul-de-sac told BBC News that the dead woman had lived in the street for about a year after moving from Pakistan to live with her in-laws.

They described the local community as close-knit where all the families knew one another.
'Pregnant' claim

On Friday, two police officers were at the scene where several houses were taped off at the end of the street.

Aziza Kahn, who lives nearby, said she believed the woman was pregnant and lived at the property with her husband, mother-in-law and two sisters-in-law.

She said: "We never saw her. There was a time we were quite close to that family, but not now.

"We didn't know her, we never got to talk to her.

"You never saw her with her husband, never ever saw them together.

"She was a young girl, we thought she was about 17 or 18, and she was pregnant."

Another neighbour, Rahana Kosar, said she believed the woman had been in the UK for less than a year but that she rarely came out of the house.

"I've heard she's an Asian lady and I don't think her parents are in this country," she said. "We're all Asians round here but she never came out the house."

Reasons for burning women vary, but most cases center around failure to give birth to a son, the desire to marry a second wife without having the financial means to support the first and long-running animosity with mothers-in-law.

Nah... let's not get caught up in the liberal values "human rights" and "humanitarianism" trap. Deport them all to raghead heaven where they came from. Women, children, pets, the elders, the flying carpets. The whole lot.

Some.. are intelligent enough to contribute to Western society. The odd thing is that raghead women are smarter then raghead men.. and I am not the kind that throws pearls before the swines. If we can use their intellect in order to keep us aware of Islamic "civilization" and the way in which those barbarians do things then we should do it.

In essense: these women are the ones that are keeping us alert and our main weapon against those lefties that open the doors for Islam as they have experienced Islam.
