Default Islamic face-veil part of 'British way of life'

The full Islamic face-veil is a part of the “British way of life” and should be celebrated along with religious symbols such as the crucifix, according to a report published today.
    Full articlle:http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/news...y-of-life.html

” In a new report, Women, Islam and Western Liberalism, Mrs Malik said: “We in Britain need to take a different direction from others in Europe and
to accept the veil as part of a modern British way of life.”

Pretty soon there won't be anything left of the Britain as it has been but a
folkloristic romanticism around things of the past and lightweighted Sunday afternoon movies from gentlier times, the past reduced to fun fare...

While there is much rotten and to revile on the Continent, there could be a few things that have taken place in Belgium and France which Britain for the benefit of the autochtone Briton should adopt...

    LOL

But in a new report from think-tank Civitas, Alveena Malik, a former faith adviser to the last Labour government
No shit huh. Labour certainly knows how to accumulate a bunch of crazies into one party. The term 'British' has taken on a whole new meaning.

Am I the only one who thinks its ironic that "Western Liberalism" and "full face veil" are in the same sentence? Call me skeptical, but I think these two things are a bit contradictory.
