Do you have Horror/Paranormal Stories?

Just told a paranormal-related story, didn’t imply that it was spooky.

Well, it was kinda spooky, but not in a threatening or evil way.
I did read it and wondered about it …

My first thought was that it was not a materialization of your grandfather as such, (unless he was known for his paranormal abilities) but his ‘ghost’ utilizing a synchronistic moment to deliver a ‘message’.

But who rang the doorbell?
A ghost can – momentarily, imbue (if that is the right word) a living person with their feelings and impulses - as if to impersonate them. That is in the realm of possibility.

So, in effect – it most probably was your grandfather.
He just wanted to (like most ‘ghosts’ do) … let your mother know or assure her that there is ‘life’ (awareness) beyond death.

I am not a psychic, nor a channeler – only that I have had some clairvoyant, clairaudient, clairsentient, claircognizant and channeling experiences, and one learns something new each time.

A few people, whilst still alive have abilities like ‘ghosts’ do.

One of these abilities is to shape clouds.
I had a friend who used to send an image of a feather with his communications to his friends.
One day – out of a blue – I felt his presence very strongly and looked up to the sky, where there was a single cloud in a perfect shape of a feather.
A synchronistic coincidence?

We communicated for years and then …..
Well, one must walk past thousands of fallen feathers in nature and take no notice of them, until one day when I saw a feather in front of me, a feather that was looking at me (so I knew it had a message ‘attached’ to it).
The message was that he had passed.
At home I immediately went to find out the truth about it, and sure enough the feather message had been right.

There are so many scientific things that have become known the last 200 years and that were not known before.

If today there is anything that I can't explain, why should I assume anything paranormal and not just another lack of knowledge about the togetherhang?

- I saw a UFO on the sky when I was like 18 or 19. It's not easy to describe what it looked like, but it did not look like a normal airplane made by humans and it didn't look like a meteor / falling star either (I know what those look like). It was large and moved in an unusual way, I never saw anything like that before or after this sighting. This was the only UFO I saw all my life.

- I think I was 20 when I slept in my grandparent's house. I was alone there because at the time my grandparents were already dead. The house was what people call a "haunted house" in English language. In the middle of night I woke up because I heard noises. This happened at multiple nights. It sounded like someone was shaking the cupboard: the plates, forks and spoons inside the cupboard were making noises. When I first heard it, it was scary enough, but then the same happened at 2 or 3 more nights and after that I did not want to sleep there anymore. I'm not saying that ghosts made those noises, but the noises were real I have no logical explanation.

My sister and I were home alone once, we were maybe 10-12 years old (we are twins), and every room we were in we would hear a noise, get scared, and move to the next room. The noises kept happening, until we were huddled in a corner in my sister's room, shaking. Then I heard a voice, "I WILL GET YOU!!!". I had enough at that point. I stood up and said loudly, "Go away!". 'Get outta here!'. I went to every room and did that. Never had another experience like that again.

Follow up:

I can still remember that voice so vividly. It was like a stereotypical, deep, evil, demon voice. It came from the center of the room, like it was just floating in the air. My sister, who was right next to me, did not hear it. But I would have put my hand on the Bible that the voice was real. This experience really taught me about the power of the mind, and what your mind can do to you (hallucinations), when you are deathly frightened.

I saw something strange once while driving, it was a large, glowing blue ball. It just dropped out of the sky like a stone and went behind some trees. No idea what it was.

Years ago a friend was heading downstairs (in his house) in the middle of the night. His parents were asleep. Halfway down the stairs he heard several keys of the piano played, in succession. It really freaked him out.

Late at night, feeling a bit down, I decided to take a walk. On my way back home, as I passed by the parking lot of the nearby apartments, I noticed a woman who eerily resembled my mother. She hurried towards a car in the parking lot, disappearing from view as she reached the row of cars. Curiosity got the better of me, prompting me to investigate. However, when I arrived at the spot, there was no one there—the mysterious woman had simply vanished.
