I was correcting you, because you were not in possession of the facts.
If you are angry because NATO bombed Serbia in 1999, take it up with Bill Clinton, NATO, or someone else. Don't take out your bitterness by trolling against Americans here at the forum. We had nothing to do with it, and we couldn't have done anything to stop it.

Frankly, to put it brutally bluntly, we have enough "wretched refuse." Let them stay on their "teeming shores." If their "huddled masses" long to breathe free[ly], let them reform their own societies and their own governments and not sneak in here looking for handouts.
Emma Lazarus' poem was appropriate for an underpopulated nation which needed unskilled laborers. The USA is that no longer. It is long since time that we opened the "golden door" only a crack and only occasionally for those whom we consider especially desirable.
In fact,it would probbly be a good idea to declare a moratorium on immigratiion until we have absorbed and assimilated the LEGAL immigrants we already have and have expelled the illegal ones. There's a right way to enter this country, and a wrong one. It's time we had zero tolerance for those who choose the wrong one.

The solution would be to resurrect Hadrian from the dead and have him build a large, fortified stone wall along the U.S./Mexico border.

maybe Qin Shi Huang ? His wall served its purpose for far longer.

Qin Shihuang's wall was probably more earthenworks than actual stonemasonry, and not as complete as the Great Wall we all know of today (which reached its current size during the Ming and Qing dynasties, at least about 1,500 years later). Still, the man [First Emperor] had a million or soldiers to order about, and the barbarians beyond China dreaded the Qin forces- not like how the barbarians beyond the Y.S. today scoff at the limp-dicked might of Unca Sam.
