    Claro! Fijate que el haplogrupo Q es más prevalente en Buenos Aires y Cordoba que en Tucumán y Catamarca. Este haplogrupo sería inexistente en el centro del país si no fuera por la inmigración del NOA y países limítrofes.

    Right now the english wikipedia has a complete article on Argentine's genetics/ethnics: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethnic...s_of_Argentina
    But it is very vandalized and filled with bad data (presumably by trolls). Would be great Argentano if you, the most expert here, can edit the article with your solid and accurate data instead.

    Yes, Tucumán recived an important number of immigrants from Spain, Italy, syrians and lebanese, and ashkenazi jewish.
    San Juan is an interesting case because although it seems it doesn't recived a lot of immigrants from the biggest waves, it didn't stopped to recive spanish immigrants after the independence, even though in permanent waves, not as a massive immigration.
    There also went a several number of syrians and lebanese.
