Are Briton/British/Britain/Great Britain The Right Names To Be Used In The UK?

Gael Land? Pictland? Pictonia? Do you think that the term of Briton, referring to the Insular Celtic tribe also known as Brythons who inhabited "Britain" from the Iron Age to the Dark Ages. Would it be correct to refer to this isle as Great Britain? Since Gaels and Picts also inhabited parts of this Isle where Brythons never settled of course.

Since that a package of tribes came during the early peroids then I would think that Great Britain would round off nicely as a name for the UK.
