Where/when do you do your best deep thinking?

I think far too much. I have to stop myself from doing it. I hate doing simple menial jobs, or duties which take no particular strenuous brain structure, as my mind just thinks, thinks, thinks.

To much thinking can drive a person insane. I therefore aim to achieve complete silence in my mind when alone.

Seriously though, I never understood how anyone could read while on the toilet...who wants to sit there that long..? And, I personally couldn't concentrate to read there...

Oh, we keep at least 1 copy of the Bathroom Reader in there. I sometimes grab any Asatru book nearby to read a few pages. I even take my laptop in there if I'm in the middle of an email, reading a post, or posting. Hel, I even continue chatting while in there on the throne. I had a local Heathen toast me at Sumbel, saying that no matter how busy I am, I still have time for my friends. Later did I realize that it was because he found out I was chatting on YIM while taking care of business. I call it "multitasking".

I take a cup of tea in the bathroom and sit on the floor with my to-do lists, phone, planner and whatever else I need and get it all accomplished in the only room with a lock on the door. I save my deep thoughts for the end of the day when I'm drifting off to sleep, LOL.
