Official: Ukraine should have three state languages

Deputy head of the Presidential Administration Hanna Herman said it would be a good idea for Ukraine to have three official state languages: Ukrainian, Russian and English.
"This is my untraditional solution to solve the country's language problem," Herman told Channel 5 TV on Oct. 10.
A key promise of Viktor Yanukovych during the 2010 presidential campaign was to enhance the status of Russian. Draft legislation in parliament proposing the same has been criticized by opposition lawmakers their supporters, some of whom have gone on hunger strike.

Well, they say many officials still did not manage to speak Ukrainian properly, not to mention English.
I don't know what the fuss is about,and whose fault is that. it has traces deep in history.
Political and personal interests ,for sure.
