Why is the Russian birth rate creeping up?

The Russian population is more like 80%, with Muslim and Eurasian groups being less than 20% because there are other minority groups as well in Russia. Moreover, it's not the minorities that are responsible for this increase. It is the people who are changing. Less abortions and less hedonism.

As it was expected the highest birth rate have Caucasus and Asian Siberian populations and the lowest one has Central district of European part of country: 1.6-1.7

I've been reading a few articles as of late about how the Russian birth rate just seems to continue to rise and rise slowly but surely. Why is that, even despite the troubled economy in Russia right now?

It's moot to point out exactly because their share of the total fertility rate in Russia hasn't increased in any significant way. It's Russians who are having more children, with this seemingly an increasing trend, and having less abortions and using less prevention, which also is a trend that probably won't stop anytime soon.

It's 80s generation, 90s generation will have less children. Same for Georgia, this small baby boom was 80s effect, nothing to do with orthodox church.
Good economy does not mean high birth rate and vice versa. Good healthcare and aducation gives low birtth rates.

In RF the highest birth rate have Caucasian minorities who have at the same time the healthiest lifestyle (no alcohol/smoking/drugs) and the lowest mortality rate in Russia, while ethnic Russians have barely offspring, face a growing AIDS epidemic, drink themselves literally to death. Georgians are no better... These are all excuses invented by subhumans to justify/sugarcoat one's one failure.

Hundreds? You can't be serious. Maybe 20-30 and they have drunk alcohol which is despised among us and regarded as scandal and that is the reason why the president speaks personally to them on the local TV channel.
