European cities have much nicer downtowns. They are also far more walkable.
Otherwise I prefer American cities, they're more practical.

I've been with my fam on holidays in Spain (Madrid, Barcelona) and in Amalfi (Italy), and also in Orlando and Miami, so although they may not be the "most" American cities in the USA, I have always identified more with American values and with the overall American lifestyle; plus American highways are some of the best you can find in the world.

Yeah, people do not fully appreciate the value of the American highway system.
Large American cities have more miles of highway than entire European countries.
The job opportunities in a area with good highway coverage are much more numerous simply because you can commute further in the same amount of time.
    Really, city highways are brilliant.

European, although luckily enough Eastern Canada particularly Quebec, and some regions of the Atlantic provinces have a much older feel.

I imagine there are places like this on the eastern seaboard of the United States as well. Although I've only evever been to New York.

European. It's not even a contest! For the reasons I mentioned back in the day: low walkability, poor public transport, and fuck all to see or do.
