If I have to judge just by the case of these soldiers, I can fully understand why Arvanites have turned to be such fervent "Greek". No surprise! In this case, we witness how the the state and mainstream media, in order to publicly intimidate any sign of Albanism in Greece; have blown out of proportion such an innocent gesture of few soldier by lying to everybody's face and by making everybody's believe that this soldier were infiltrated to achieve "Greater Albania" ( a term which I hear it constantly ONLY in Greek and Serbian media, and their companions). That instead of just being soliders of Albanian ethnicity serving in the Greek army they were conspiring to take over Greece and rule the world!

In their sick mind they try to create imaginary enemies, which work day and night to invade Greece. And since in Greece the Police, Military and Media has some good strong fractions of Golden Down members and radical Orthodox, it is quite clear whom is much interested in this kind of scenario.

If the Arvanites were treated at some time in history as these poor soldiers, obviously they will become like that and spit on their own blood. Aggressive assimilation is called.

Good Nationanalism and bad nationalism are not the same you know, Greeks if they were not Nationalists they could still be under Turkish occupation having the Turkalbanians torturing them along with Turks. Greek Nationalists follow rightful Nationalism, we want to get back and liberate what was ours since antiquity, we don't want ground that were not Greek. In the case of Albanian Nationalism they follow non-rightful Nationalism, they want to get back Greek grounds that was gave to them by their Turkish masters.

If Greeks and Albanians are close genetically it's cause we are both native Balkanians, not cause Greeks have Albanized by the Arvanites as Albanian Nationalists claim.

Greek's closest populations genetically are Italians, but neither Greeks are Italians nor Italians Greeks.
