Thus far there's no Walmart nor Burger King in Belgium. Mobility scooters aren't a thing here neither, but our minister of Social Affairs and Health is this woman.

My paternal grandfather passed away in 1981 sadly, and I never knew him. My father rarely talks about him, even if he loves him and retains a picture of him. However, I did catch a glimpse about how he used to drink a lot. His cause of death was lung cancer, though.
Different generation. Also a harsher generation at that. If you time-warped people of his generation to our current age, they'd easily kick our asses in a fight.

Belgium had its own fast-food outlet chain, Quick, which has been recently taken over by Burger King's French subsidiary...

I once heard on Walloon television about the possible breakup of the country while interviewing a Flemish woman.
"Les Flamands et les Wallons se rapportent comme chien et chat."
Probably true. A lot of the squabbling is from mutual misunderstanding due to differences in humour and body language.
