Why should it matter who looks darker? Nobody wants skin cancer or sunburn.

Either way, people will be mocked and teased whether they're pale (called 'albinos', 'sickly', 'anaemic', 'ghost',) or if they have more melanin in their skin and they're darker.

Whether people are pale, tanned, dark... some miserable person will always bully and insecurely complain about other peoples features.
