Merkel says no, Kandil says no, Kardashian says no, Queen Elizabeth and Theresa May say no, Madonna says no, Esed says no, Feto says no. How am I supposed to say "no" under these circumstances, huh?

I'm generally an Erdogan supporter but even though there are some good points proposed, most of them may be bad for Turkey in the long run. So much power in the hands of one single person might not be bad while Erdogan is president but once someone else comes it could have terrible repercussions. Power seems to have gotten to his head a bit.

I heard this from many AKP supporters here. I hope you are not deceiving us.

I think Erdogan is busy on too many important subjects, he's been winning too much and too often, when he starts losing he'll lose big.

The Eurasia Survey Centre has released a new poll today showing that 'No' is leading with %57

Erdogan has not lost a single election to this day (except the one in June 2015 where his party lost the one-party majority in the parliament, but quickly recovered in an early election). This election might be the turning point for the opposition. If No wins; it'll be like the Kemalist Stalingrad and from that point some new centre or centre-right parties might emerge as an alternative to AKP.

I don't think it will matter.

You will still screw it up.
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Eph. 6:12

Definition of untrustworthy and loose character are those that don't believe in God.

Because of Erdoğan, 2600 journalists lost their job in Turkey. No freedom of press, only "penguin media". Cumhuriyet is the last surviving dinosaur, but for how long?
And soon? Compulsory religion at school, no science, no philosophy...Only political Islamists, Bozkurtlar and all women veiled in the streets. And an almighty Sultan for life.
This is not the Turkey I want in Europe. And Turkey, as much as Great Britain, needs Europe.
After Brexit, I hope I'm not in for another bad surprise.

We have our share of the rampant right-wing populism sweeping the world, unfortunately. There's a weird trend of bringing up old-fashioned practises which are supposed to have already been exterminated by the 21st century.
