Default Will African Americans become more caucasoid-admixed compared to now eventually?

The African American community is absorbing caucasoid-admixture little by little because of the fact that many afrolatinos (who tend to be more euro-admixed than black Americans) are identifying as black. Likely that 1st and 2nd genetion will identify more with the culture of their parents but this will eventually change at some point. Perhaps their nietos, biznietos and tatanietos will identify different. Also many biracials are identifying as black and the gringo media seems to promote this. Back in the 2000s and early 2010s I get the impression mixed Americans were starting to identify more as what they are. But with the lately BLM plus the many half white and half black celebrities identifying as black it seems like this changed a little to me.

American blacks are 1/4 white in general and it will be more in the future for sure.

Interesting question. I think so, it seems like black identity is a malleable thing, more based on culture or a sense of "shared experience"...

Maybe most biracial Americans are really identifying as what they are and we are getting the wrong impression from certain celebrities?

Perhaps similar to Jews that absorbed tons of European admixture. We are in different times though. People is more racially aware and that includes Americans.

Well...I only know one biracial person and she identifies as black. She has explained it to me as "I'm black because that's what I more look like on the outside and how people perceive me". I think it has to do with the Anglo US culture traditionally saying anyone with any visible sign of black ancestry is considered black. The "one drop rule" and all that, I don't know.

Perhaps it depends on phenotype? Like the biracials that look more negroid are more likely to identify as black and the other ones more ambiguous as biracial? You even have some seen as white like the comedian from Saturday Night Live (I forgot her name) or Radisha Jones. Usually if that African Americans looks pure negroid or passable as pure negroid the biracial kid will come out looking like a light black. Well, you have Halle Berry's case. Her dad looked full Africano.

I agree, yeah. This girl I am talking about would have a very difficult time convincing anyone she is "white" jaja and people just see her as black, but there are also some biracials who I didn't even know were mixed...so it depends.

What about the tons of African immigrants and Caribbeans that on average are more SSA than African Americans? There are tons of Haitians and Jamaicans here that combined makeup like 2 million. Add the nearly 1 million of black Caribbean from other islands like Barbados, Trinidad, etc. and the other 1.5 million of the black Africans migrating here.
