Interesting question. I'm not familiar enough with Russian phenotypes to say. But there seem to be two types of Polish looks in my experience. Some look very western to me. Others are easily recognizable as Slavs.

I've seen three. One type are very Slavic looking. Another look more like Swedes, Danes, Germans. Then you have some who look more Balkan and could pass as far south as Greece.

You're right, good point. I knew a Polish guy awhile back who was quite swarthy. Of course, he may have been mixed, but I doubt it.

like russians, there are some who look western, but there are also some russians who look western, the thing they have in common with russians are the guys who are easy recognisable as slavs

No, I mean with some other ethnicity, since he was American. Are there even Tatars in Poland?
