Not true ,, the Portuguese started the world slave trade and the Portuguese and Spanish involved displacement of way more slaves than the English. Why always attack the English,, we were not the nearly as bad as the Arabs or Portuguese and Spanish when it came to slavery. Arabs castrated many black male slaves many died from this. They made them Eunuchs. They were barbaric.
