the women in my childhood had long hair (consequently, in my mind — women should have long hair)
my son's mother and her girl-friend have not trimmed their hair
since we met:
their braids hang below their knees
and they usually carry the braid wrapped around their neck
(which, of course,
moisturises the hair constantly with natural oils).
meine kleine über-mädchen has never trimmed her hair, so,
over sixteen years of hair growth.
she carries her braid in the same fashion.
