I've heard Georgia has one of the best wines in the world. People basically travel there just for food and drink (not that they don't travel there for other resons, just that those things are enough to attract tourists).

Apparently they do have an 8000 years old tradition of wine making. I thought their weather doesn't favor it as much as a med climate can.
