Which Generation are you/do you relate to?

Donnie Darko is a Gen X movie. I relate to Gen X because I was born in 1979. But I am the latter part of it, so there is an in-between called the "Oregon Trail" . These people born in the late 1970s and early 1980s are a hybrid of Gen X and Millennials.

People born in between generations are called "Cuspers" and can share some elements of both generations. Donnie Darko is kind of a cusp movie (released in 2001).

Haha, yeah. I always felt older than my age and get along with older people more (a lot of my irl friends are mid twenties to early thirties)....maybe it is because I'm an only child.

The same thing, from childhood I was drawn to communicate with those who are older. While your peers are playing in the sandbox, you already ride trains without a ticket with older guys and learn to steal (did not take root in me). Accordingly, the experience of communicating with adults and women was formed earlier.

Generation late Y/early Z: very young, generation Bieber, 3D movies,economic crisis, fake 80's nostalgia, Twilight, Lost footage movies, superhero movies, reality TV, smartphones, TV is unimportant, might turn conservative, virtual reality, rejection of RnB/Rap among white people. Personalities: Justin Bieber, Obama, Lionel Messi, Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, Hanna Montana, Zac Efron. Movies: Dark Knight Rises, Avatar, GoT... (I don't know this generation that much, you might complete)

The first serious things I remember in my life was the September 11 when I was watching something for little kids and the tv changed to a fire and then my mon was crying. Then I remember the energy crises of 2002 at FHC rule that at night suddenly the cities lost energy for one hour many times at week. Then I remember Lula election around 2003 and all everybody was saying. Then I remember the Afeganistão war, George Bush, Tony Blair and Israel Sharon somewhat like that.

The first non kids and non brazilian movies I understood and I was shocked was Premonition, Butterfly effect and Everybody in panic.

I remember the adolescents listening Link Park, Evanescence, Laura Pausini....

just turn 50 the 05 april,so i'am a gen X but with a more or less a post millenials,gen Z mindset,because i deeper really don't care about the people of my generation and their worse shitty tastes in anything,tv,movies,books,fashion,sports etc.... ,especially the completly useless wealthy leftie hipsters of our big megalopoles what we seen everyday

Im on the border between a Millenial and Zoomer, have a more Zoomer lifestyle probably. I grew up in the Zoomer years so naturally more Z.
